The Bristol and West of England China Bureau is set to hold its first ever China Pow Wow Networking event in Bath this evening, Wednesday 14th November.

The networking event, sponsored by new Bureau members Century Casino, will include an overview on current activities in the Bath Business Improvement District.

Kartini Sutoto, from the casino, will welcome business guests and review latest developments in the casino business.

Bureau Chief Executive Dianne Francombe said: “With China tipped to become the world’s largest economy, overtaking the United States by 2030, strengthening trade connections is more important than ever.

“We provide a platform for businesses in the region to develop an understanding and connect with like-minded organisations.

“As part of our policy of reaching out to other cities within our region we held our Autumn Pow Wow in Swindon – and have been trying to set up an event in Bath for some time.”

The event, to be held at the Century Casino in Saw Close, Bath, will be hosted by newly appointed Chief Representative for Bath & Wiltshire Yang Ding.

The Bath China Pow Wow will kick off at 6pm on Wednesday 14th November.
