A team of 18 solicitors and staff from Royds Withy King are preparing to run the Bath Half, and have released a video, to help raise awareness and money for their chosen charity, Bath Mind.

The Royds Withy King team hopes to raise thousands of pounds for Bath Mind which is the firm’s chosen charity for 2017-2019 as voted for by solicitors and staff based at its offices in Queen’s Square and Midland Bridge.

Nicola Cutler, an associate in the Dispute Resolution team at Royds Withy King and regional chair of the firm’s dedicated Charities Group, said: “This year we are proud to be entering our biggest team with 18 runners taking part in the Bath Half. Everyone has been training hard and is in good spirits ahead of 4 March.

“We are hoping to perform well in both the men’s and women’s Corporate Challenges, combining  the times of our five fastest women and men across the line which is then entered on to the Corporate Challenge leader board.

“The Bath Half is a brilliant event that raises money for so many great causes. We’re proud to be running in aid of Bath Mind, which does fantastic work to improve the lives of people with mental health problems and their families.”

Corporate social responsibility is one of the core values that Royds Withy King is built on. Partners and staff throughout the firm are heavily involved in a wide range of charitable and community-led initiatives.
