Cloud Direct, the cloud solutions provider based in Bath, has announced its acquisition of Connect Support Services, their fifth takeover in less than two years.

This latest acquisition is part of Cloud Direct’s ongoing, ambitious organic and acquisitions-based growth strategy.

It follows hot on the heels of Cloud Direct’s January acquisition of AOG Group, a Microsoft gold partner for hosting and communications.

In previous months, Cloud Direct acquired Redblade in July 2016, ihotdesk in December 2015 and Datel Business Systems in June 2015.

The acquisition of Connect Support Services further strengthens Cloud Direct’s customer services and technical support capabilities. As a gold Microsoft CSP partner, the acquisition particularly serves to bolster Cloud Direct’s offerings around Microsoft Azure, Office 365 and hosted desktop.

Brett Raynes, founder and CEO of Cloud Direct said: “Connect Support Services brings great people with a great ethos, as we continue to invest in cloud services that help small to midsize organisations become more competitive, productive and agile – mainly through our expertise in cloud migration and management.

“We’ve been helping businesses move to the cloud since 2003 – quickly, easily and securely. We’re excited to bring everyone from Connect on board so we can drive even better business continuity, people productivity and infrastructure for customers.”
