The Bath-based family food blog, Meals and Makes, has just launched its first selection of activity kits for children, with the ‘everything included’ jars encouraging food positivity.

The packs are inexpensive, colourful and easy to use, making them ideal gifts for children.

There are three ranges, including Grow me, Colour me and Sew me. You can grow your own mini herb garden on your windowsill and turn your crop into a tasty meal, colour-in and cook delicious recipes or maybe sew your own ice cream.

All products are CE marked, sourced from within Europe and made by hand, with care, in Bath.

Blogger, creator and Bath mum, Kate Gordon-Brown said: “I am a mum of young twins. I have worked in the food industry for over 10 years and have a passion for good food and a taste for adventure!

“I started my blog: ‘Meals and Makes’ on Mother’s day in 2015 (but its for dads and grandparents too!).

“The blog has over 6,000 followers and is jam-packed with simple, family-friendly recipes as well as food-inspired creative play ideas.

“It is a one stop shop for mums and dads looking for inspiration to encourage fuss free, happy eating.”
