Police in Bath are appealing for information to help them trace a man who, unprovoked and without warning, punched a woman on the arm as he walked past her on Charlotte Street.
The woman, who was not badly hurt, was by the zebra crossing near Queen Square when it happened.
The man then walked off without looking back.
He is described as white, around 50 years old, of scruffy appearance with unkempt grey hair and wearing a burgundy jumper.
He walked with his head down and did not look up or around.
It happened on Thursday 5th June at around 4.30pm. Police say the road was busy at the time.
