BA1 Records, the city’s biggest youth records label, will be taking centre stage at two of Bath’s biggest summer events.

On Friday (1st June) the best of BA1’s musical stars will be showcasing the latest cutting edge tunes as part of the massive Party in the City event. Artists including Marabou Stalk, Shauna Hutch, Laura Doggett, Morgan Rose and the Cerulean will be playing at Belushis, with friends of BA1 Records Grace and upcoming YouTube sensation Natalie Holmes.

Simultaneously the 45 first year Pop students will be playing at the Egg theatre. Brand new to the Bath scene, these bands include NoFunClub, With What Remains, Essence of a Dilemma and Acid Eyes & the Sweet Life.

Then, on Tuesday 5th June, BA1 artists will be performing at the Queen’s Jubilee Picnic in the Park event in Victoria Park. Thousands of people are expected at the free event, which will see performances from musicians including Bite the Buffalo, Dr Elephonte, Lily Stokes, Peyote and Tallis Morris.

Max Weedon, Head of BA1 Records, said: “To have such a high-profile presence at two of Bath’s biggest events is a great opportunity for our musicians and will hopefully lead to them being offered more gigs.

“BA1 Records champions the best in emerging musical talent from Bath and the local area and these events are great exposure for our young musicians, giving them the chance to play in front of thousands of people. We would like to thank Bath Festivals for their amazing ongoing work.“
