Appoint Recruitment, who are based in Bath, recently hosted a charity fundraising Quiz Night whilst cruising on the River Avon.

A host of local businesses enjoyed a curry before battling it out over a general knowledge quiz – and comedy foil round – all whilst sailing and enjoying the scenery of Bath and the surrounding countryside.

The fundraising event was made even more special by the luxury raffle with prizes donated by Artizan, Circo, Duo Boots, Robert Welch, Room for Romance, The Hudson and Top to Toe Treatments. All proceeds from the event will go to Hope for Tomorrow who are Appoint’s Charity of the Year and provide Mobile Chemotherapy Units to bring cancer treatment closer to patients.

The event raised £1200 of £1540 raised so far for Hope for Tomorrow, but Appoint hope to significantly increase the total by the time the three consultants complete their 3 Peaks in 24 Hours Challenge on May 4th.  The team have been training hard to be as fit as possible and are looking forward to taking on the challenge. If you would like to donate please visit their fundraising page here.

Appoint are thanking all their clients and sponsors that took part in the event and helped make the evening such a success.

Katherine Ashman, Managing Director of Appoint said: “When choosing our charity each year we like to look at those who make a key difference to people’s lives and Hope for Tomorrow do exactly this. We are so grateful to our clients for the support they have given in both our Curry Evening and our Challenge. We look forward to the tough 24 hours of walking in the knowledge that we are making a difference to so many people.”
