More than 100 talented young sportspeople will attend a conference at the University of Bath today to help them become Young Ambassadors.
The Young Ambassadors Conference is part of the legacy of the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games and aims to equip outstanding sports leaders to be role models and advocates for the benefits of physical education and school sport.
Attendees will come from schools from Bath, Bristol and Wiltshire and will take part in a range of workshops and activities throughout the day.
They will also meet athletes who have competed at the very top of their sport, including Paralympians Ben Rushgrove, David Hill and Kate Gray, and Craig Figes, who captained the GB water polo team at the London 2012 Olympics.
The Young Ambassadors programme is a Youth Sport Trust initiative.
