Three people had to be rescued on Saturday afternoon after the car they were in overturned on Gorse Lane near Cold Ashton on the A46.
The vehicle had ended up on its side and Avon Fire and Rescue were called at 16.55 to reports of the incident.
Upon arriving at the scene, firefighters found the three casualties still trapped in the Nissan.
The firefighters worked to stabilise the vehicle using hydraulic cutting equipment, while paramedics assessed and treated the trapped people.
A man in his 40s was taken to hospital by the Great Western Air Ambulance and two other people, a male in his 20s and a female in her 30s, were treated at the scene.
