Bath Rugby are planning disciplinary hearings for some of their players, after allegations that some of them ran across the Recreation Ground pitch naked during a social event at the club last week.
Reports have suggested the incident took place during daylight, ahead of a kicking clinic for young children.
It’s believed a fire extinguisher was also let off in the hospitality suite at the club.
Around a quarter of the squad are facing disciplinary hearings following their actions on Tuesday evening last week.
A statement from Bath Rugby said: “Bath Rugby is currently addressing the events at the Rec last week, which involved a small group of players from the club.”
“The appropriate conduct of all players and staff is highly important to the club, and disciplinary hearings with those involved will take place in the coming days.
“The matter will be addressed appropriately as part of that process.”
