There are plans to convert a boutique hotel at Lansdown in Bath into a house.

The boutique hotel at Belvedere

A planning application has been lodged with Bath & North East Somerset Council for Hill House Hotel on Belvedere.

Hill House was built in 1760 and was originally called the Belvedere Inn.

In 1809, George Hulbert purchased the Belvedere Inn, and later the adjacent property at 24 Belvedere and it became the Belvedere Private Hotel.

The hotel underwent a major renovation around 15 years ago.

The planning reference is 26/00929/FUL, and the deadline for any comments is 8th May.
