Peter Pan Pre-School in Lower Weston has retained its Good Ofsted rating following a recent inspection.

The Methodist Hall in Kennington Road, where the pre-school is based

The pre-school, which opened in 1979, is based at the Methodist Hall in Kennington Road and currently has 29 children on the roll.

The inspector’s report says that staff provide a warm welcome to children and families at the friendly community pre-school.

They quickly establish good relationships with the youngsters and use effective teaching techniques to extend all children’s learning, helping them to make good progress from their individual starting points.

Children are busy and engaged at all times and leaders are said to work well together and lead a close-knit team.

Parents appreciate receiving ideas for how to support their children and give “unanimously positive” feedback about the pre-school.
