Avon and Somerset Police have arrested a third man on suspicion of murder following the death of Thomas Downey under an archway near the Lower Bristol Road on Christmas Eve.
His body was discovered under an archway, off the Lower Bristol Road on the afternoon of Wednesday 24th December.
A post mortem showed that Mr Downey died from significant head injuries.
His family travelled down from Manchester to be briefed by investigating officers on the enquiry. They are being supported by a police family liaison officer.
The 46-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder.
A 33-year-old arrested over the weekend remains in police custody. A 37-year-old man, who was also arrested over the weekend, has been released on police bail, pending further enquiries.
The neighbourhood policing team are working with the local community to provide support and reassurance and to assist with the investigation.
However, officers are still keen to speak to anyone who was in the area near to the station in Lower Bristol Road around lunchtime on Christmas Eve.
Police believe the area would have been busy with shoppers and people leaving work early.
If anyone has any information, they would like them to contact the Major Crime Investigation Team on the force number 101.
