Avon and Somerset Police have launched an appeal for information after a woman was left with significant facial injuries following a robbery in Bath last week.
The incident took place close to Haycombe Cemetery at the Whiteway Road junction with The Hollow at approximately 6.45pm on Saturday 28th May.
A woman got off a bus outside the cemetery and started to walk home.
Two men, aged approximately 16, were sat on the wall outside the cemetery and started to follow her.
As the victim walked down Whiteway Road she was pushed to the ground by the pair who then stole money from her purse before running off.
She suffered significant facial injuries as the result of the attack which required hospital treatment.
Officers are appealing for any witnesses and any drivers who drove past Haycombe Cemetery between 6.30pm – 7pm on 28th May to come forward.
The two suspects are described as white with one wearing a black hoodie with the hood up and the other wearing a blue short sleeved collared shirt.
Both were approximately 5ft 3ins tall and of slim build.
