Avon and Somerset Police are trying to trace a man who witnessed an incident in the Dunkerton Hill / White Ox Mead area of Peasedown St John between 10-11pm on Sunday 19th June.

A group of men and women were involved in an altercation when a white man on a bicycle came past.

It’s suggested that he shouted at the offenders and was confronted by one of them.

Officers are very keen to speak to this witness or anyone else who may have seen this incident on Saturday night.

If you can help, get in touch with DC 2395 John Shanahan through the police online form, www.avonandsomerset.police.uk/contact, or by calling 101, quoting reference 5216134293.

Alternatively, contact the independent charity Crimestoppers via www.crimestoppers-uk.org or on 0800 555 111. They never ask your name or trace your call and you could qualify for a reward.
