Bath magistrates have issued a warrant of control after a local company failed to pay a fine and other court-imposed charges.

In October, Bath Cleaning Services Ltd was fined £1,000 by Bristol magistrates for not identifying the driver of a vehicle.
The firm was also ordered to pay a £400 surcharge and £120 costs.
On Monday 15th December, Bath Magistrates’ Court heard that there had been no communication from the company and no plea had been entered at the hearing in October.
A search of Companies House records had revealed an active proposal to strike off the company.
A warrant of control authorises enforcement agents to take the necessary steps to recover financial impositions imposed by the court. It can include taking control of possessions.
Bath Cleaning Services Ltd is registered at Portland Place in Bath. According to Companies House, the business was incorporated on 3rd January 2018. There were initially three directors, but there is now just one.
