Festive scenes including Christmas trees, snowmen and Santa coming down a chimney were among the many designs submitted for this year’s Curo Christmas card competition.

The winning designs have been turned into email cards and sent out to the Bath-based housing association’s 13,000 households.

Winner of the 0-4 age category was Ronnie from Keynsham for his snowman design.

Tilly Mae from Southdown won the 5-9 age category for her starry night sky over a Christmas tree.

Charlie, who lives in Weston village, designed the winning entry in the 10-16 category.

There were joint winners in the 17+ age group, Katy Griffin from Twerton and 82-year-old Roy Muspratt, a Curo Sheltered resident.

All the winners received a £50 gift voucher and certificate.

Emma Newman, Regional Customer Account Manager at Curo said: “It’s fifth year we’ve run the competition and although it’s been a tough year for lots of people, we wanted to spread some festive cheer.

“We love looking at all the fantastic entries – it really brightens the day! Thanks to everyone who entered, and we hope even more take part next year.”

A gallery of all the winning designs is available on Curo’s website at www.curo-group.co.uk/christmascardcomp21.
