Wessex Water is advising road users of two-way traffic lights on the A36 Warminster Road in Bath on Monday 1st March while it carries out main repair work.
The lights will be in place from 9am near Hantone Hill, with repair teams working extended hours to complete the work as quickly as possible.
The water and sewerage company has said there will be no interruption to customer supplies.
A Wessex Water spokesperson said: “We’re sorry for any delays to essential journeys caused by the temporary lights, which are needed to keep road users and our workforce safe.
“We expect the main repairs to take no longer than three days.”
