The farm’s 37-acre site is abundant with wildlife habitats, growing spaces and community facilities, making it an ideal location for individuals to develop their knowledge and skills in nature and food-focused subjects.
Bath City Farm is welcoming individuals who are interested in connecting with animals, plants, wildlife, and people to join the workshops and share knowledge and experiences.
The topics for the workshops include Fermenting, Hedgelaying, Edible Forest Gardening and Flower Arranging.
Over the next few months, the charity has lined up a range of workshops.
The programme includes Edible Forest Gardening with Sid Hill on 6th May, Medicinal Herbs in Spring with Helen from Malago Medicinals on 27th May, Forage and Feast on 10th June, Flower Arranging with Jude, the Community Grower, and talented volunteers on 8th July, Natural Pest Control with Chris Smith from Pennard Plants on a date to be confirmed, Introduction to Chicken Keeping with Joe, the Livestock Coordinator, on 9th September, and Medicinal Herbs in late Summer/early Autumn with Helen from Malago Medicinals on 14th October.
