People living in Peasedown St John and the surrounding area are being invited to the next big community breakfast, hosted by the village’s Residents’ Association, which was set up four years ago to organise social events.
B&NES Councillor Karen Walker (Independent, Peasedown St John) said: “The Residents’ Association has worked hard over the last four years and developed a reputation for putting on fun and enjoyable events for local people.
“This next Big Breakfast event follows on from a year of successful events over the last 12 months organised by the group.”
Peasedown’s Big Breakfast will be held on Friday 27th January, from 10 am – 1 pm at St John’s Close Community Room (BA2 8JG), next to Albert Avenue.
All funds raised at the Big Breakfast will help fund community events for the year ahead.
Full English Breakfasts are £2.99 each.
Karen added: “I’d encourage everyone to come along and support the upcoming Big Breakfast. Peasedown Residents’ Association has already raised almost £3,000 over the last year from successful grant applications and fundraising.
“Of which, all the money is going straight back into paying for community activities.”
