Better has announced that twelve pieces of cardiovascular equipment have been installed at Culverhay Leisure Centre, following feedback from its customers.

The machines come with a range of new features including “Unity Touchscreens” and are part of the latest Technogym Excite+ range.

They allow the leisure centres members to use a wide range of apps whilst exercising, including games.

Users will be able to have a change of scenery and use the virtual training module that allows you to run a selection of worldwide virtual courses, including destinations such as San Francisco and the French Alps.

Ruth Rich, General Manager at Culverhay Leisure Centre said “We are so pleased that we have been able to upgrade the gym equipment at Culverhay Leisure Centre.

“We always listen to our customers and the community and we hope that in addition to encouraging more people to get active, this improvement will also enhance the experience of visiting the gym for our existing members.”

The improvements follow a complete refurbishment of the gym at Better, Bath Sports and Leisure Centre which opened in March.

Further information on Better, Culverhay Leisure Centre can be found on the centre’s website: better.org.uk/culverhay.
