Bath-based Curo has launched its 2020 Curo in Bloom competition and is asking anyone who lives in one of their 13,000 homes to enter and help brighten up their street over the summer.

Curo Resident Engagement Coordinator Michelle Sage said: “Through the COVID-19 lockdown we know loads more people have been discovering they have a real gift for gardening.
“We thought this was the perfect time to bring back our Curo in Bloom competition so our residents could show off their glorious gardens and dazzling displays and win one of our great prizes too.
“Our competition is for anyone living in a Curo property, so whether you have a window box, hanging basket or giant garden, or help out with a community garden – we’d love to hear from you.
“With the lockdown restrictions we won’t be visiting properties, so we’re simply asking our residents to send us photos which showcase their entry by the end of Friday 4th September 2020.”
Full details are on Curo’s website at www.curo-group.co.uk/cib2020. Residents with no access to the internet can call 01225 366000 to find out more.
There are categories for best window box, balcony or hanging basket, best veg or sensory garden, best community garden, best small or large garden, and a tallest sunflower competition.
Winners will receive gift vouchers and a trophy, plus the honour of being a Curo in Bloom champion.
All entries must be received by midnight Friday 4th September 2020.
