Scott has donated essential supplies and two vehicles to support Ukraine
Scott Adams, who bought the iconic Midford Castle from Hollywood star Nicolas Cage in 2009, took two large four-wheel drive pick-up trucks to the war-torn country, handing them over to front-line units.
The two vehicles, a Mitsubishi L200 and a Ford Ranger Thunder, were used to transport 600kg of medical aid and clothing to the city of Lviv.
The 1,300-mile journey saw Scott and his fellow driver Dmytro travel through Belgium, Germany and Poland.
Four days after setting off, the quest ended last Tuesday when they unloaded the supplies and gave the trucks over to the army.

Scott said: “As much as Ukraine needs clothing and medicine, it also needs large, off-road vehicles to transport food, troops and equipment.
“One thing that I didn’t know, and discovered to my horror, is that they prefer right-hand drive vehicles as Russian sniper attacks are usually aimed at a driver sitting on the left-hand side.”
Scott is also supporting a Ukrainian family at his home. Lidiia, her two daughters and three grandchildren, have lived at Midford Castle since April 2022 and the children attend schools in Bath.
