The team will return to The Rec this Saturday, 16th September, to take on Jersey Reds in the second tie of the Premiership Rugby Cup following the club’s start in the competition last week.
With the Rugby World Cup now well underway, it’s a perfect opportunity for families to inspire the next generation of Bath Rugby stars by taking them along to experience the unique and iconic atmosphere of The Rec for the first time.
David Ayres, Marketing Director at Bath Rugby, said: “We’re really excited to welcome fans back to The Rec for our first home game of the new season.
“Rugby fever is at an all-time high following the start of the Rugby World Cup, and we know for some of the younger generation, this will be the first time they’ve had the opportunity to experience all the thrills and spills of a match day.
“The Premiership Rugby Cup is a great opportunity to be able to give new and old fans the chance to see live rugby from just £5 and be amongst the first to see the future stars of the game.”
The Rec will open its doors from 11am on Saturday 16th September ahead of the clash with Jersey Reds, which kicks off at 1pm.
Supporters will also get two games for the price of one when Bath RFC Ladies take to the field to face Newbury Women RFC following the final whistle in the men’s game.
The Fan Village will feature live music from The Hits, Max the Mascot will be on the prowl for selfies and there’ll be food vendors for fans to enjoy.
Tickets are available for all of Bath Rugby’s Premiership Rugby Cup ties, including Jersey Reds (16th September), London Scottish (23rd September) and local rivals, Exeter Chiefs (weekend of 6th October – exact date TBC) at The Rec, with tickets available for just £5 for children, £10 for adults and £30 for all the family.
