The UK’s leading luxury ribbons and trimmings brand, V V Rouleaux, has branched out of London by opening a vibrant, treasure trove shop on George Street in Bath.
The shop on George Street is the second location for V V Rouleaux, which has its much-loved flagship store on Marylebone Lane in London.
Annabel Lewis founded V V Rouleaux in 1990 with the belief that “there are no barriers between fashion and decorating, home and catwalk”.
This fluid approach to design inspired her to blend texture, pattern, and colour into a sumptuous melting pot of couture trimmings which can be used in the home as much as on a piece of clothing.
V V Rouleaux now supplies over 5000 ribbons, tassels, braids, flowers, feathers, cords, and other trimmings in 100 colours.
It is the destination for designers and decorators, stylists and crafters, lovers of colour and texture, and anyone looking for inspiration.
The company has won countless awards, supplies major fashion houses, styles A-listers, and is continually used in the biggest magazines, TV shows, and films.
The new shop follows a continued expansion for V V Rouleaux, as they launched a new website last year, and their ribbons are now stocked in John Lewis and Liberty London.
V V Rouleaux founder Annabel Lewis said: “We are incredibly excited to bring V V Rouleaux to the beautiful city of Bath.
The historic city is a perfect match for our exquisite haberdashery, some of which, like our pure silk grosgrain ribbon, has not been seen for decades.
“Our team are famed for their creative madness and excellent knowledge of craft, weddings, interiors, millinery, and fashion. Whether you require colour matching or project advice we will always go above and beyond to help.
“If you are attending Ladies Day at Bath Racecourse in a couple of week’s time, our bespoke hat service is for you. With swooning feathers, couture flowers, and gorgeous trims in 100 colours, V V Rouleaux has all of the ingredients to make an exquisite one-of-a-kind hat or fascinator to match your outfit.
“There’s no need to book, just pop in to the shop and our millinery gurus will help you design an entirely new creation or update an existing headpiece of your own with our beautiful bits and bobs.
“As well as our bespoke services, we are also looking forward to introducing workshops which reflect the heritage of Bath; the first of which is a Turk’s head knots and tassels workshop on Saturday 16th September.”
