Law firm Mogers Drewett has acquired Bath-based Hutcheson Forrest Solicitors, in a move to further strengthen the breadth and depth of the residential and commercial property teams in the business.

Established in 1996 by Simon Hutcheson and Sarah Gratton, Hutcheson Forrest Solicitors offers Residential Conveyancing, Litigation & Disputes, and Wills & Probate and Estate Planning for private clients, and Commercial Property and Business Disputes for business clients.

“Hutcheson Forrest Solicitors has built a strong reputation within the city,” explained Steven Treharne, Managing Partner of Mogers Drewett.

“The team has a good reputation of delivering a highly specialised and personalised service to a solid client base, who will now benefit from a wider range of legal services for both private client and commercial clients.

“The skills and experience of the Hutcheson Forrest team will add to the growing team at Mogers Drewett, and will help to further establish the firm’s reputation and coverage within Bath and across the wider South West region.

“This development has occurred at a time of continuing growth and progress in the property arena for Mogers Drewett as the firms reviews its residential conveyancing procedures for clients in a move to increase transparency, simplify documentation, and speed up the house-buying process where possible.

“Simon Hutcheson’s arrival will also help with a growing commercial property portfolio of work as the firm looks to build on its growing commercial business to add to its solid private client reputation.

“We are working hard on our service delivery to clients and increasing our resources and we’re looking forward to working with Simon Hutcheson, Frances Perkins and welcoming the Hutcheson Forrest team to Mogers Drewett.”
