The commercial units at the new Spring Wharf development in Bath have now been fully let with three leisure and retail occupiers signing deals, Deeley Freed Estates and Legal & General have announced.
Pure Gym, the chain of no-frills health clubs, has agreed on a 15-year lease for ground floor and mezzanine level space. It will be Pure Gym’s first centre in Bath, continuing its expansion into the South West following the opening of gyms in cities including Bristol, Exeter, Portsmouth and Plymouth.
Scoop Wholefoods, the UK’s largest zero-waste health food retailer, is expanding into Bath following the opening of its first store in Bristol. It has agreed a 10-year lease on the ground floor.
The final retail occupier, the American cycling icon Trek, has agreed a 10 year lease for the remaining ground floor space.
Formerly known as Roseberry Place, Spring Wharf occupies a prominent location alongside the junction of Lower Bristol Road and Windsor Bridge Road, as part of the Bath Riverside Enterprise Zone.
Construction of the first phase, which includes the residential apartments and retail units, has now been completed and the second phase is due to come forward shortly.
