Comec Voice & Data, the Swindon-based supplier of telecommunications solutions, is celebrating 25 years in business with a new partnership with Bath Racecourse.

The new partnership sees them becoming the title sponsor of the track’s popular Gentleman’s Day on Sunday 17th September.

Dapper outfits, fantastic food, drink and seven races will be the order of the day, and gentlemen can enter a Best Dressed competition where a £500 cash prize, plus a host of other rewards, can be won.

The afternoon features the £20,000 final of The Summer Stayers Series; a new initiative for 2016 and the racecourse’s way of rewarding the loyalty shown by the owners and trainers who frequently run at the venue.

“A day at the races is the perfect way to celebrate a quarter century in business,” explained Martin Rowley of Comec Voice & Data.

“Looking toward the next quarter century we understand the value of not only maintaining our profile, but also of supporting other businesses in the region, which is why sponsoring the Gentleman’s Day at Bath Racecourse makes sense.

“We will enjoy a high profile in front of thousands of racegoers and the business community. We hope they join with us in celebration of our achievement.”

Jo Hall, Executive Director at Bath Racecourse added: “We’re delighted to announce Comec Voice & Data as a new sponsor for one of our biggest days of the racing season. Gentleman’s Day is a great event and it’s always wonderful to see the boys making the extra effort to match the girls on our Ladies’ Day event.

“Sponsorship not only offers companies great brand awareness opportunities but is also a unique way to treat valued clients and reward employees, so we’re looking forward to helping Comec Voice & Data celebrate this 25 year milestone with a really special event.”

Gates open at 11.30am with the first race at 1.35pm and the last race at 5.05pmpm. General Grandstand entry tickets cost £21.

There are also a range of hospitality packages available which include food and drink, starting from £59.
