There’s less than a week to go until the latest Smashburger restaurant opens in Bath on Southgate street in the city centre, featuring unique burgers and a special discount for those attending the opening.

The secret to Smashburger’s success is in the “smash” – a unique method of cooking whereby 100% British Red Tractor Assured beef is hand-formed into a meatball and then smashed onto a hot buttered grill, searing in all the juices and flavour, producing a burger unlike any other.

Smashburger has arrived from Denver, USA, where the first restaurant opened in 2007. There are now over 370 locations within nine counties, operating in cities such as California, Texas and New York.

The new restaurant will be officially launching on Thursday, 25th May and there’s a special opening offer.

Simply tweet or post on Instagram about the opening using @SmashburgerUK and #SmashDay, show the post to your server when ordering your meal and receive £5 off your first order (minimum spend £15).

Did you know?

  • Smashburger burgers are always made-to-order, never frozen, and all of their produce is sourced from reputable, local UK suppliers.
  • They’re more than just beef burgers – there’s also 100% British whole chicken breast burgers
  • Smashburger have got three unique bun options – the SMASH bun, spicy chipotle and multi-grain – to layer with beef, grilled or crispy chicken and Portobello mushroom, plus over 28 fresh toppings, sauces and premium add-ons.
