An annual exhibition of creative talent by students from Bath Spa University’s School of Art and Design is set to take place over the next fortnight.
The Degree Show exhibitions will include a range of work by 230 students graduating from the University’s undergraduate degree courses in Creative Arts, Fashion Design, Fine Art, Graphic Communications, Photography, Textiles for Fashion and Interiors, and Three Dimensional Design.
Works on show will include drawing, painting, sculpture, ceramics, textiles, illustration, design, photography, graphics and digital media.
This final degree exhibition is the result of three years of intense study and demonstrates the skills, insights and ideas that each graduating student will take with them into the next stage of their careers.
The Degree Show will be open daily from 10:00am to 4:00pm from Saturday 7th to Sunday 15th June at the University’s Sion Hill and Dartmouth Avenue studios. Admission is free and all are welcome.
Professor Anita Taylor, Dean of the Bath School of Art and Design said: “The Bath School of Art and Design Degree Shows are a highlight of the year as we celebrate the many achievements of our graduating students in this public exhibition of 230 new artists and designers.
“Visitors to the Degree Show have a unique opportunity to discover the rich and dynamic experience of the exceptional range of work on display and to enjoy the creativity and talent of our graduates at the launch of their future careers.”
