Veg aficionados Riverford have launched a new veg obsessed recipe video channel on YouTube, designed to be the go-to place for anyone who needs to get to grips with the green stuff.
The new channel will be brimming with Riverford’s iconic, inspiring recipes that make veg the hero of the table.
As more people choose a vegetarian or flexitarian diet, the world is waking up to veg; with new recipe videos released every week, such as Radicchio & Bacon Pasta, Courgette Kuku and Kale, Fruit & Nut Pilaf, it will be easier than ever to live life on the veg.
Riverford Bath’s vegteam, Alan and Vicki Mowat, said, “We want our new recipe videos to show people that it is easier than they think to make veg the star of the plate.
“We hope the channel will be your first port of call whenever you need help or inspiration with vegetables. We’ve got inspiring ideas for more unusual things like cardoons and fennel, but also new ideas for the humbler members of the veg tribe: we’ve been finding inventive ways with carrots, cabbage and cauliflower for over 30 years.
“We love living life on the veg and want to share that enthusiasm with everyone!”
As farmers themselves not only do Riverford grow the best seasonal organic veg around, they are obsessed with it in the kitchen.
As well as the new YouTube channel, there are 3000 seasonal recipes on their website, they’ve published four acclaimed cook books and have two organic restaurants.
Designed in collaboration with makers of Rick Stein programmes, Denham Productions, the new videos capture the pleasure that comes with handling proper veg to create beautiful homemade food that’s packed with flavour.
The new video channel will add to Riverford’s existing cooking activities in and around Bath, which include cookery classes at Demuths in Bath, supper clubs in Bristol and veg-based activities in schools..
