Snow Mouse returns full of its original charm, creating a magical snowy wonderland designed by Edwina Bridgeman in The Roper Room at The Egg.

Presented in association with Travelling Light Theatre Company, it is performed on this occasion by Oliver Langdon, the immersive world is an absolute treat for the old and young alike.

Langdon engages the audience with absolute ease, the wonderful discovery of the Snow Mouse is met with gasps of delight.

The Mouse and performer head off on a journey of fun, discovery and moments of separation which provides a moment of drama and as they are reunited, the joy is felt throughout.

This is a remarkable piece of theatre for the young. It is hard to believe it is 10 years old but it still has the stamp of quality; the heart of the storytelling is charming and warm. It is impossible not to get caught up in their adventure and share all emotions.

The soundtrack by Alex Vann accompanies the story with an atmospheric lighting design. The glorious Snow Mouse is the creation of Marc Parret. It is mesmerising as it comes to life and by the end of the show has captured the hearts of all.

It is a privilege to have productions of this calibre available for the very youngest theatre goers in Bath and for some, no doubt, it becomes a traditional landmark as the festive season approaches.
