A 24-year-old woman has been arrested on suspicion of the theft of a handbag from Jimmy Spices in Bath last week.
The woman was being questioned about the theft at Bath’s police station on Manvers Street yesterday afternoon.
The handbag was stolen from Jimmy Spices restaurant in Dorchester Street, Bath on Saturday 18th January.
CCTV photos released showed a woman taking the bag from the floor at around 1.35pm.
She then left the building and walked towards the bus station where she was last seen waiting at the bays for outbound buses to the Bristol, Frome or Wells areas.
