Kingswood Prep School in Bath were delighted to welcome wildlife presenter, television producer, author, naturalist and ornithologist, Nigel Marven to the school last week.
The wildlife expert shared his experiences of working with komodo dragons, sharks, bears and leeches with a captivated audience of pupils and staff.
His enthusiasm, knowledge and tales of close encounters with some dangerous creatures made for a fascinating lecture.
The children were also treated to their own close encounter with two of Mr Marven’s unusual and exotic pets; a ball python and a blue-tongued skink.
