Kingsmead Square will play host to a vibrant street food market this festive season, taking place every Friday and Saturday from 24th November – 9th December alongside the Bath Christmas Market.
The traders include those currently making waves on the Bristol street food scene, including Ah Ma’s Dumplings (Cantonese dumplings and noodle broth), South Street Kitchen (soft shell crab and crispy chilli squid), Alp Mac (Alpine style mac & cheese), Low n Slow (slow cooked barbecued meats) and Pickled Brisket (salt beef sandwiches).
Also taking part are British street food award winners Seadog from Devon, whose smoked mackerel and crab laksa will tantalise the taste buds.
Soviet Kitchen will be bringing USSR inspired food whilst cheese fiends will be in heaven at the smell of Raclette Raclette’s melted cheese and tartiflette creations.
Bath Organic Farm, La Bonne Crepe, Mission Burrito, Hoba Kebab, Medianoche Sandwich, Doughballers Pizza and Underdogs will serve up an assortment of delicious street food alongside festive cakes and breads from Bordeaux Quay bakery and Layers of Joy.
The Festive Street Food Market will complement the fantastic array of food and drink already on offer at Kingsmead Square from businesses including Society Café, The Bath Coffee Co, The Dark Horse and Boston Tea Party.
There will be a bustling scene of great, mouth watering street food from around the world, where visitors can also indulge in mulled wine or cider whilst listening to live festive music – a great way to refuel before visiting some of Kingsmead Square’s fantastic independent retailers or heading back to the Bath Christmas market for some more retail therapy.
