Locals invited to ditch the comfort of their beds for Big Bath Sleep Out

Homeless charity Julian House is asking local residents, their friends and organisations to ditch the comfort of their beds and join hundreds of others in Alice Park, Bath, for just one night.

Could you ‘Sleep Out’ for just one night if it meant you could help others who would be forced to sleep out every night?

No one is under any illusion that spending one night under the stars could possibly replicate what it is like to be homeless and on the streets.

After the Big Bath Sleep-Out you can go home, have a warm bath, have a nice breakfast and chat to family or friends about your experience, perhaps even go back to bed to catch up on the sleep you lost the night before.

By being sponsored to sleep out for just one night you will be helping others who don’t have the luxury of their own home to return to.

The 9th Big Bath Sleep-Out is open to individuals, members of the public, organisations, families, work teams.

Last year 230 people, including families, corporate groups and friends, raised an amazing £35,000 by sleeping out for just one night.

Further details and an online registration can be found at: www.bigbathsleepout.co.uk (Under 16’s must be accompanied by an adult and those between 16 and 18 need signed consent from a parent or carer).
