Bath’s Kingsmead Square will once again be filled with the delicious aroma of street food for a second year, as the Festive Street Food Market returns to the city later this week.

The event, which is set to coincide with the Bath Christmas Market, is back after a successful launch last year and will offer visitors a selection of culinary delights from around the world.

Traders will include Tasty Ragga, The Pickled Brisket, Wrap Shack, Underdogs, Los Hermanos Combinados, The Feastie Boys, Alp Mac, Smoke Catering, Low N Slow Bristol, La Bonne Crepe and High Steaks.

Food fans will be able to enjoy the Kingsmead Square Festive Street Food Market for longer, with the event running for 12 days across three weekends.

The market will be open all day every Thursday to Sunday throughout the Bath Christmas Market, which opens on Thursday 22nd November.

As well as food from some of the region’s finest street food traders, the market this year will also showcase live music and entertainment every weekend.

Bridget Pilkington, from Bristol Eats which is co-ordinating the market, said: “We look forward to welcoming the people of Bath to this year’s Kingsmead Square Festive Street Food Market, which will have something for everyone.

“It will be a great spot for visitors to the Christmas Market needing to refuel before heading back to finish their shopping or local workers wanting to liven up their lunch break.

“The market will run into the early evening providing Bath people somewhere different to meet with friends or family to start celebrating the festive season.

“We also have a great line up of local musicians and even puppeteers to keep everyone entertained.”

The festive street food market will be open from 11am to 9pm from Thursday 22nd November to Sunday 25th November, Thursday 29th November to Sunday 2nd December and Thursday 6th December to Sunday 9th December.
