Local residents are being invited to take some time out and pop down to the beach later this month, at the new Carribean-style Bath on the Beach venue, which is opening in Royal Victoria Park.

Bath on the Beach will give visitors the chance to play games, sip summer cocktails, eat delicious food and have a great time, all in the heart of Royal Victoria Park in Bath.

Relax in a hammock beneath palm trees, play beach volleyball with friends, share jugs of margaritas and eat Mexican tacos – there’s plenty on offer to help you make the most of the summer in Bath.

Bath on the Beach will have beach volleyball, table tennis, adventure golf, boule, tennis, yoga and more. All of the games are available for hire, and the new venue will be open every day 10am – 10pm.

Once you’ve had your fill of games, visitors are encouraged to chill out with a drink and a bite to eat at the beach bar. Share jugs of summer cocktails and enjoy the range of Caribbean and Mexican food, as well as ice cream, available throughout the summer.

Bath on the Beach is perfect for birthdays of all ages, hen do’s or after-work parties.

From the team that brings you Bath on Ice each year, Bath on the Beach is located on the same site as the Christmas ice rink, next to the adventure golf in Royal Victoria Park.

Simon Smith, Bath on Ice Director, said: “We wanted to offer Bath something a little different this Summer, and we felt that a Caribbean beach venue would be the perfect way for people to relax with friends, stay active outdoors, play games and have fun.

“It’s something a little different to our Christmas ice rink and we’re really looking forward to opening.

“Our favourite part of Bath on Ice is bringing together families and friends for a fun time, and we’re looking to recreate this in an exotic Summer setting.”

Bath on the Beach will launch on Saturday 21st July 2018 and will be open every day throughout the summer, 10am – 10pm, until September.
