Plans are taking shape for Bike Bath, the annual cycling event which takes place in the city on Sunday 3rd July, celebrating its 5th year attracting cyclists of all abilities who are invited to sign-up for distances of up to 80 miles.
New routes are to be published on the event website in the next few weeks.
Riders won’t be disappointed as they head out South East towards Warminster and Salisbury Plain, the routes will pass through the pretty historic village of Lacock before returning back for the after ride celebrations at the Recreation Ground.
For those wanting to take on a cycling challenge and fundraise, Bike Bath have partnered with Dorothy House Hospice, who are celebrating 40 years of care.
They have places available for Bike Bath or alternatively when you register for Bike Bath there is an option for you to donate to this charity or riders can choose to ride for their preferred charity of choice.
A well-known feature for Bike Bath are the fine quality feed stations which offer cyclists the opportunity to sample food and drink from around the region.
Bath Ales will be supporting the event again with their bar where riders can sit, relax and take in the atmosphere in the heart of the city at the REC.
Registration to the event is now open and an early bird discount is available until 31st March.
You can enter as an individual or as a team for any of the routes and children under 16 can enter for £10.
