Family Day will be taking place at Twerton Park on Saturday 25th March, as part of Bath City’s match against Wealdstone, with kick off at 3pm.
There will be a number of activities taking place for children from 1pm including an inflatable beat-the-goalie in Randall’s Bar, a marching band before kick-off and at half-time a youth football match will take place on the pitch.
All attendees will receive a free football clapper, to help create a fantastic atmosphere to support the team on the pitch.
Organisers are welcoming families from across the city with a family ticket (2 adults and 2 children) costing just £20 (a £5 reduction on a normal family ticket) in the hope that this will encourage more families to visit Twerton Park.
Families of any make-up welcome, but you’ll have to have at least one child.
Jon Bickley, incoming director when the community take-over is shortly completed, is looking forward to the event and said: “We are expecting a great atmosphere on Family Day with 100s of free football clappers guaranteed to make a big noise.
“Our aim is to welcome as many new people as we can to Bath City from across the city and, following on from our Community Day in October where 1100+ people turned out, Student Day and last week’s Women at the Game event, it’s time for families to enjoy an entertaining and great value afternoon at the football.”
Family Tickets can be purchased in advance from https://www.bathcityfcshop.com/products/family-day-bath-city-v-wealdstone-fc or on the day from the ticket office, single match day tickets are purchased at the turnstile upon entry, cash only.
