Local residents are being invited to join the party at Bath City FC on Friday evening as the club celebrate and toast the success of the Big Bath City Bid and their community owned future.
The evening will be hosted in Charlie’s and Randall’s Bars at Twerton Park and will start at 7:30pm with a live set from local singer and songwriter Ruby Donadel.
A former women’s footballer herself, Ruby will help to capture the early evening vibe with her country-tinged vocals.
Later in the evening, those attending will be treated to sets from The Lone Sharks, the South West’s pop-punk kings and The Zines, a high energy band who will be performing dance floor filling 90s Indie and classic rock hits. The evening will close at midnight with a Grand Finale of ‘Go Bath City, Go!.
There will be a number of festival style food outlets on the evening for party-goers to purchase a variety of different cuisines from West Country Beef Burgers to Pulled Pork Baps, Jambalaya and falafels. The bars will also be fully stocked and waiting to serve.
Jon Bickley, Director of Sales and Marketing at Bath City said: “We were keen to host an event at the club to celebrate the recent confirmation of our transition into a community owned club.
“We’re looking forward to welcoming everyone who was involved in the Bid and most importantly, all our supporters for what should a great evening.”
