A number of roads across the Bath area have been blocked this evening due to flooding caused by the torrential rain experienced in the city throughout the day.
The A4 Bristol Road is currently blocked due to flooding near Pennyquick at the Globe Roundabout. Avon and Somerset Police have said the road is not passable.
There is also flooding on the A363 Bradford Road Northbound between Warleigh Lane and Bathford Hill.
St Saviours Road in Larkhall has also flooded (see picture above and tweet below) after the Lam Brook was overwhelmed with water.
Green Lane in Hinton Charterhouse has also been closed at the High Street.
Heading towards Bristol, Burnett Hill has been blocked due to flood water between Middlepiece Lane and Avon Road.
If you know of any more flooded roads across the area, or have some photos you’d like to share, tweet us @BathEcho or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
If you’re driving on our network in tonight’s bad weather take extra care. Slow down & keep your distance from the car in front. #DriveSafe
