Transparent Bubble Hotel Room Coming To Bath

Between 13th and 15th March, daring guests have the opportunity to stay overnight in the LateRooms Bubble, a completely transparent Bubble Room in the heart of Bath.

The bubble hotel room is courtesy of the UK’s leading hotel booking site LateRooms.com.

Measuring 4m high and 4m wide, complete with its own 2m high entrance tunnel, it’ll certainly grab the attention of shoppers and city centre workers when it goes up in SouthGate later this week.

Far from camping, the bubble hotel will be kitted with all the plush luxuries you’d expect from a hotel, with a freestanding bath, comfy bed, luxurious linen and fur throws.

And of course, it’ll have the delights of the city quite literally on its doorstep.

“It’s clearly not for the faint-hearted,” said LateRooms.com spokesman Andrea Tarpey.

“Our Bubble Room will have 360 degree views like no other hotel room, but will also be completely exposed to passers-by and will be situated in the heart of Bath’s city centre.

“This will be a completely unique experience for the Bubble Room guests – they’ll have all the comforts of a hotel room, but their stay will be a real one of a kind. Hopefully privacy isn’t too high on their agenda.”

Earlier this year LateRooms.com carried out a piece of research into British bathing habits, and revealed amongst other things that the bubble bath is a rare luxury for many people, with more than a third of Brits taking just four baths or less a year.
