Four men have been arrested after a motorbike stolen from the University of Bath was traced by police to an industrial unit in Cardiff.
The bike’s owner, who’d had two other machines stolen in the past two years, had agreed that Bath police could fit a tracking device to his new one.
After he reported the Suzuki DRZ 400 stolen from an underground car park at the university campus on Monday, 12th May, Bath and South Wales officers traced it to a unit in the Rumney area of Cardiff.
It had already been fitted with false number plates and the identification numbers were in the process of being ground off.
A small cannabis growing factory was also found and three plants seized.
The four men, two aged 30, one 31 and the other 28 were arrested at the scene on suspicion of theft and have been bailed pending further inquiries.
