Babbage won the title last year and was successful in the 2025 competition, which was held over the weekend of July 12th and 13th.

He scored a 69 on the Saturday and a 71 on the Sunday, making a two-under-par total of 140 for 36 holes.

Peter Horn won the President’s Cup for the best net over 36 holes. He scored 140.

The conditions were difficult, with high temperatures on both days.

Ground conditions were also a challenge as the fairways were parched.

Despite this, the championship attracted an entry of 81 players.
