Bath head into the fixture buoyed by an impressive 49-19 away victory over Bristol Bears two weeks ago.

Butt captains a youthful matchday squad, with an average age of just 21.3 across the 23. Among the replacements are three players set to make their senior debuts: prop Ioan Emanuel, back row Connor Treacey, and University of Bath centre Will Roue.

Roue joins the club as a guest player for this block of PREM Rugby Cup fixtures, further highlighting the close partnership between Bath Rugby and the University.

In the front row, hooker Jasper Spandler starts alongside props Scott Kirk and Kieran Verden. Will Jeanes and Harvey Cuckson combine in the second row, with Ethan Staddon and Thompson Cowan named at six and seven, and George Timmins completing the pack at No.8.

Neil le Roux and James Linegar form the half-back pairing, with Butt lining up in the midfield alongside Charlie Griffin. Austin Emens starts at fullback, with Sam Winters and Tyler Offiah on the wings.

On the bench, hooker Max Pearce joins props Emanuel and Mikey Summerfield as front row cover, while Arthur Green and Treacey complete the forward replacements. Ieuan Davies, Jack Woods, and Roue provide the backline options in a five–three split.
