Treble winners Bath Rugby have announced their squad for 2025-26.

Under head coach Johann van Graan, the Blue, Black & White won the Gallagher Premiership title, the Premiership Rugby Cup and the European Professional Club Rugby Challenge Cup last season.

Having played their final match of that great campaign on Saturday 14th June, Bath will be back in match action on Saturday 6th September when they entertain Glasgow Warriors (3pm) in a pre-season fixture.

Bath will play a friendly against van Graan’s former employers Munster Rugby at Virgin Media Park in Cork on Friday 12th September, and a United side will visit the resurrected Worcester Warriors on Friday 19th September.

Competitive rugby will resume on Saturday 20th September, when Exeter Chiefs visit the Rec in the PREM Rugby Cup.

Bath Rugby’s 2025-26 squad:

Senior team

  • Hooker: Tom Dunn, Dan Frost, Jasper Spandler.
  • Prop: Thomas du Toit, Archie Griffin, Beno Obano, Will Stuart, Mikey Summerfield, Francois van Wyk, Kieran Verden.
  • Second row: Charlie Ewels, Ross Molony, Quinn Roux.
  • Back row: Alfie Barbeary, Josh Bayliss, Jaco Coetzee, Thompson Cowan, Ted Hill, Guy Pepper, Miles Reid, Ewan Richards, Ethan Staddon, Sam Underhill.
  • Scrum-half: Tom Carr-Smith, Neil Le Roux, Ben Spencer, Bernard van der Linde.
  • Fly-half: Ciaran Donoghue, Sam Harris, Finn Russell.
  • Centre: Will Butt, Chris Harris, Louie Hennessey, Ollie Lawrence, Max Ojomoh, Cameron Redpath.
  • Wing: Henry Arundell, Joe Cokanasiga, Will Muir.
  • Full-back: Santi Carreras, Tom de Glanville, Austin Emens.

Senior academy

  • Hooker: Max Pearce, Oscar Thomas, Kepueli Tuipulotu.
  • Prop: Ioan Emanuel (on season-long loan to Cardiff Rugby), Scott Kirk, Vilikesa Sela.
  • Second row: Jack Bennett, Harvey Cuckson, Will Jeanes, Enoch Opoku-Gyamfi.
  • Back row: Arthur Green, Alex Ridgway, George Timmins, Connor Treacey.
  • Scrum-half: Ieuan Davies (on season-long loan to Cardiff Rugby).
  • Fly-half: James Linegar.
  • Centre: Jack Harrison.
  • Wing: Charlie Griffin, Tyler Offiah.
  • Full-back: Sam Winters, Jack Woods.

Scholars

  • Prop: Alfie Griffin, Theo Malik, Henry Mountford, Claudius Wheeler.
  • Second row: Tom Hilton.
  • Back row: James Maloney.
  • Wing: Henry Bartlett.

Bath’s under-18s recorded a 38-19 win over Harlequins in the second round of the PREM Next Gen academy league on Saturday 23rd August.

The match was the Blue, Black & White’s first at home – Allington Fields, headquarters of Chippenham RFC – and followed a draw at Saracens in the opening round.

Bath scored six tries and landed four conversions in the victory over Quins, who responded with three touchdowns and two conversions.

The visitors had more of the possession but entered Bath’s 22 eight times, whereas the hosts made their way into Harlequins’ 22 on 15 occasions.

The competition now takes a break until Saturday 25th October, when Bath will face Bristol Bears at Allington Fields.
