Holders University of Bath will host Trowbridge in the quarter-finals of rugby’s 2025-26 Davis Access Bath & District Combination Cup.

The draw, which was made on Wednesday 27th August, handed Walcot a home clash with Keynsham.
The other last-eight ties will see Midsomer Norton receive Frome and Chippenham – last season’s runners-up – welcome Devizes.
In the semi-finals, University of Bath or Trowbridge will be at home to Midsomer Norton or Frome, and Walcot or Keynsham will entertain Chippenham or Devizes.
The draw for the 2025-26 Davis Access Bath & District Combination Vase was also made on 27th August.
The top-four-ranked of the competitors were in a mini-draw for the quarter-finals, which resulted in Combe Down being presented with a home game against last term’s runners-up Corsham and 2024-25 Vase winners Avon set to take on visitors Melksham.
The remaining clubs will start their campaign in the first round: Warminster versus Westbury, Avonvale v Colerne, Bradford-on-Avon v Old Sulians and Bath Saracens v Oldfield Old Boys.
And the rest of the quarter-final draw has pitted Warminster or Westbury at home to Avonvale or Colerne, and Bradford-on-Avon or Old Sulians at home to Bath Saracens or Oldfield Old Boys.
In the semi-finals, the match-ups are Warminster, Westbury, Avonvale or Colerne versus Combe Down or Corsham, and Bradford-on-Avon, Old Sulians, Bath Saracens or Oldfield Old Boys versus Avon or Melksham.
The finals of the Cup and Vase will be played at the Rec, home of Bath Rugby.
The Papa John’s Community Cup has been replaced this season by a new national knockout competition for club at Counties 1 level and below.
Walcot will be at home to Melksham in the Counties 1 South Plate first round.
Combe Down have been drawn away to Yeovil in the Counties 2 Championship first round.
And in the Counties 3 South Plate first round, Bath Saracens and Old Sulians each have a bye.
Initial rounds of the national cup competitions will be played during the league season, with the finals being held in May.
Championship finals will take place at the Allianz Stadium, Twickenham.
Plate finals will be played at other prestigious venues across the country.
Meanwhile, Combe Down will face Surrey outfit Effingham & Leatherhead in a pre-season fixture at Holly’s Corner on Saturday 30th August (2pm).
Effingham & Leatherhead are members of Counties 3 Surrey.
