The Larks, who are warming up for another campaign in Pitching In Southern League Division One South, led 2-1 at the break.

On target for the visitors in front of a Weymouth Street attendance of around 185 were Stan Wyatt, Will Osborne and Dylan Tate.

A large crowd is set to pack into Larkhall’s Plain Ham home tomorrow (Tuesday 22nd July) when Enterprise National League South outfit Bath City visit for a derby friendly.

Kick-off will be at 7.45pm. Admission prices are £8 for adults and £5 for over-65s and students. Under-16s can watch for free.

England’s tussle with Italy in the UEFA Women’s Euro 2025 semi-finals tomorrow will be screened live in the Plain Ham clubhouse (8pm).

The last time the Larks and the Romans faced off at Plain Ham, a crowd of 1,000 attended for a cracker in the FA Cup.

On Saturday 16th September 2023, City came from two goals down to win 3-2 in the second qualifying round.

Meanwhile, in the first round of the Francis Hillier Premier Cup – formerly the Somerset Premier Cup – the Larks have been drawn at home to Taunton Town, the tie to be played in October.

Taunton, from Pitching In Southern League Premier South, most recently won the county cup in 2024.
