James Kellock netted four times as City of Bath 1st XI made it five wins from five games in West Hockey West Men’s Division Two East

James Kellock struck four times – all from penalty corners – as City of Bath 1st XI raced to a 6-0 win at their Corsham counterparts in West Hockey West Men’s Division Two East on Saturday 25th October.

Scott Woolley (penalty corner) and Ben Kirby Woollett were also on target for the visitors, who opened the scoring in the sixth minute.

City of Bath top the table with five victories from five outings. They have a goal-difference of 31 and sit three points clear of second-placed Stroud 1st XI.

Mendip 1st XI secured their first success of the campaign in West Men’s Division 1 North when they overwhelmed winless hosts Whitchurch 2nd XI 6-2, Callum Harvey hitting a hat-trick including one goal from a penalty corner.

Annette Pellow and Olivia McKean scored to hand Team Bath Buccaneers 3rd XI a 2-0 home win over travellers Cheltenham 2nd XI in West Hockey West Women’s Division 1 North.

West Women’s Division 1 North: Team Bath Buccaneers 3rd XI 2 (Annette Pellow, Olivia McKean) Cheltenham 2nd XI 0.

West Women’s Brunel Division 2: Old Bristolians 3rd XI 6 Team Bath Buccaneers 6th XI 1.

West Hockey West Men’s Division 1 North: Swindon 1st XI 3 Team Bath Buccaneers 3rd XI 4 (inc Laurie Simpson-Biles 2 inc 1 PC, Henry Hodges), Whitchurch 2nd XI 2 Mendip 1st XI 6 (Callum Harvey 3 inc 1 PC, Cameron Colbourne, James England, Maxton Spalton PC).
